Over the years, a number of the Tribe of '59 have fallen along the trail. To date, we know of about 90 who have passed away. Sad as it is, let's remember them by scrolling down through the photos below of those youthful and vibrant faces that we recall from school days.
There may be more whose passing is not recorded here, and most of the six missing classmates may be in the Happy Hunting Ground, but in general our Tribe are surviving better than the national average for those born around 1941.

The question is often asked - "Did any of our classmates die in Vietnam ?" The answer is no. How do we know ? Because none of the Warriors who have died or are still missing is listed on the Vietnam Wall as a casualty of that war. Although a number of our guys served in Vietnam, our class was somewhat too old to bear the major brunt of the fighting, which fell mainly upon classes of the mid-1960's.
